The BMA Laboratory in Bochum, founded in July 1999, is an independent contract laboratory specializing in the analysis of biological contaminants in indoor environments, workplaces, and the examination of biological parameters as part of product quality control.
Accredited by DAkkS according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, the laboratory provides reliable and high-quality testing services.
The founding idea of Dr. Ute Stephan and Dr. Klaus Klus was to combine the fields of immunology and microbiology in a meaningful way, creating a comprehensive analytical service offering.
The BMA Laboratory’s portfolio includes the detection of molds, bacteria, and allergens.
Both air and material samples are analyzed to identify and assess mold contamination in indoor spaces.
Additionally, the laboratory provides expert assessments of microbially contaminated environments, performs on-site sampling, and prepares comprehensive reports with final evaluations of mold contamination levels.
Another key area of expertise is the testing of consumer goods and medical devices, with a focus on latex-containing products.
In this field, the laboratory performs protein, allergen, and endotoxin detection, as well as microbiological testing.
The BMA Laboratory team consists of qualified professionals, including biologists and technical assistants, who work in various areas such as microbiological indoor analysis, quality management, and testing of consumer products.
