OIKOS

OIKOS is an accredited testing laboratory according to ISO/IEC 17025 and a recognized provider of proficiency testing under ISO/IEC 17043, with over 35 years of experience.

The laboratory specializes in the analysis of air samples from workplaces and exhaust gases, as well as environmental investigations including noise emissions, water, wastewater, soil, and indoor air quality.

Its service portfolio includes chemical and physical measurements in workplaces, covering hazardous substances, noise, vibration, microclimate, lighting, and dust.

Modern analytical techniques such as chromatography, spectrometry, and infrared spectroscopy are employed.

A gravimetric method for determining dust fractions is also accredited.

OIKOS offers nine proficiency testing programs, including noise, light, vibration, dust, and carbon monoxide.

It supports other laboratories by providing validated samplers, advice on storage and transport, and field blank samples, focusing on solid-phase samplers rather than liquid impingers.

Many of its testing methods are based on NIOSH/OSHA standards.

The laboratory also maintains an extensive ISO 17034-certified reference substance database and consistently achieves excellent results in international proficiency testing programs.
